The Ski HIll Memorial project is focused on 4 key areas:
- The Historic Ski Hill Lodge
- The Ski Hill Slopes and Terrain
- The Programs offered through the LWSC to our youth and adults
- Our profound gratitude of these guys and what they meant to the Leavenworth Community and NW Skiing.
The Friends of Johnny Brenan, Jim Jack, Chris Rudolph, and Daniel Zimmermann have partnered with the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club and The Leavenworth Ski Hill Heritage Foundation to ensure that these guys be immortalized.
We know. It is a big goal.
The Leavenworth Winter Sports Club has managed the Leavenworth Ski Hill since 1928 and is without doubt the coolest little ski club around.
The Leavenworth Ski Hill Heritage Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization created to fulfill a fundraising role and responsibility for skiing and winter sports programs in Leavenworth and the Northwest. The primary focus is to develop funding sources to keep our ski & winter sports legacy alive and for the purpose of preservation of ski and winter sports heritage.
In September 2012 we launched a 24-month campaign to raise $500,000 for the Ski Hill Memorial Project which will include a 2,000 square-foot patio, outdoor restrooms, ski slope upgrades, outdoor amenities and year-round event accommodations.
